Hello, I’m Amanda, and I am the answer! I’m absolutely thrilled to be running for MathSoc Treasurer, and I’d love the opportunity to manage our society’s finances with precision, transparency, and a touch of fun.
Handling money doesn’t have to be dull—I’ll ensure our funds are managed wisely, budgeted efficiently, and used to create the best possible experiences for you. With hands-on experience managing budgets (whether for projects, events, or even my slightly excessive online shopping habit ðŸ¤), I’m highly organised, detail-oriented, and committed to keeping MathSoc financially thriving.
One of my key ambitions as Treasurer is to allocate more of our budget towards exciting social events. Imagine a glamorous, black-tie boat party, exclusively for MathSoc members—because who says mathematicians can’t party in style?! I want to make sure our events are not just great but truly unforgettable.
