Laura Shaw

Hello, I'm Laura! I'll be a 2nd-year EEE student next year. I've learned so much about EESoc through conversations over free pizza and my role as Social Events Officer for ICRS. I truly believe in EESoc’s potential to grow and provide even more for EEE and EIE students. I want to be part of this growth and fully recognise the commitment required from all committee members to support the society.

Through my position in ICRS, I’ve learned a lot about the complicated bureaucratic processes we navigate and hope to use my understanding of the university, along with my attention to detail, to support all EEE/EIE students. I’m well aware of the treasurer’s responsibilities and have extensive experience with Excel and the Imperial Claims system. I also (believe it or not) actually enjoy writing emails! I’m eager to take on this role to help facilitate great events and student support in the coming year.
