Hey guys I'm Leon currently a first year maths student who's also in the ICSM team right now. I was born in Shanghai but got shipped to Melbourne Australia where I grew up then. I actually started to play badminton in year 9 just because it was the one sport where I realised I could get good at very quickly (not many kids did badminton there). Then trained for 2 years and became team captain where I became an unofficial tour guide of our school when other schools' players come to our school for our home games. However being the team captain also meant that I had to manage all aspects of the team, ranging from players' mental states to finances, for which I had contributed considerably to making sure the court bookings and shuttle supplies went smoothly. Anyways, I'm running for treasurer for ICSM this year and hope to see you guys on the courts next session!
