David Liu

My name's David and I have been at DramSoc for the last two years. I am Lighting Director at DramSoc this year and hope to be on committee again next year by being Treasurer. I believe that I have gained insightful knowledge into the running of the society through being on committee this year and attending the committee meetings where the runnings of the society is discussed. This has allowed me to learn a lot about how the society functions and what our goals and ambitions are. I have also worked on many shows in the past two years which I hope shows that I am a committed member of the society.

I hope to continue the fantastic work that our current Treasurer has done in recent years and making sure that our funds are spent wisely. I will work together with the President and Technical Director for next year in determining where our resources are spent throughout the year due to a lack of income through Great Hall shows for the foreseeable future. The focus will turn to trying to maintain what we currently own and use the shows we have and small hires we do to generate money and I believe I am the right person for this role. I hope that I have shown myself as a person who will try his best to achieve what is required and isn't afraid to ask for help when he doesn't know the answer.
