Hey everyone,

I’m Tara! and I’m running for Live Music Society Treasurer.

I’ve been part of the society for the past two years, playing at gigs, getting involved in events, and really enjoying being part of this community. This year, I’ve also been on the committee as the Hire Manager, which has given me a solid understanding of how things run behind the scenes—managing equipment, handling bookings, and helping keep everything running smoothly.

Now, I’d love to take on the role of Treasurer. I want to ensure our finances are in good shape so we can keep putting on great gigs, maintaining our gear, and making the most of our budget. Having already worked closely with the committee, I understand how things operate and am ready to take on the responsibility.

Live Music Society has been a big part of my time at Imperial, and I’m keen to contribute even more in the coming year. If you vote for me, I’ll do my best to make sure everything is taken care of so we can all focus on what we love—playing and enjoying live music.
