Dearest boat club,

I am Andre and I am honoured to put myself forward for treasurer. Having been on the committee for surgical society and had previous experience working with the union, I believe I can work diligently with members of the club to ensure the club’s finances are safe and secure.

The following are my promises as treasurer:

1. Collaboration: I am eager to work with members of the committee and SU effectively to ensure our club has sufficient funds for all events. Having had previous experiences with SU, I trust I can communicate and work both efficiently and professionally.
2. Planning: I can ensure documentation of financial records and books are detailed and accurate as to aid the enhancement of our club's economic sustainability and equipment. My capacity as a cox and growing knowledge about equipment puts me in a great position for long term planning for the club’s hardware.
3. Transparency: I aim to strive for transparency in how the club's finances are spent, as well as always listening to feedback from members of the club to ensure that money is spent where needed.

Allow me to guide you through the rough waters of the union, as I keep our club securely afloat!
