Hello everyone!

My name is Beanice, a first-year studying Economics, Finance & Data Science. With finance as the nucleus of global decision-making, I believe a well-organised and efficiently run society can empower students with networking opportunities, career development resources, and industry insights.

As Secretary, I will ensure that the Finance Society operates with maximum accessibility and clear communication for all members, helping to foster flawless organisation.

My experience organising various projects like food drives and managing my own online shop has enhanced my ability to ensure smooth operations, coordinate complex schedules, and maintain meticulous records.

My goals:

1. I’ll ensure that all meetings, speaker sessions, and networking events run seamlessly, with efficient registration processes and clear scheduling so members never miss an opportunity.
2. I’ll maintain an organised, up-to-date record of events, meeting notes, and opportunities, ensuring that members always have access to key information.
3. By initiating feedback mechanisms, I’ll optimise communication between committee members and society members to maximise engagement and participation.
4. I’ll work to make our society more inclusive and interactive, ensuring that everyone—from beginners to experienced finance enthusiasts—feels supported and involved.
