Iestyn Ellis

Having served as Big Band Secretary for the past year, I come with plenty of experience in this role and would love to continue being involved in the running of the society! Over the past year, I have ensured that the band always has a place to rehearse and successfully overseen the auditions process, welcoming many new members into the band.

With many of the current committee members graduating, I believe it’s crucial to have some continuity from year to year. This will help ensure that the (hopefully many) new committee members have the guidance they need to settle into their roles and keep the society running smoothly.

If re-elected, I will continue to make sure that Big Band remains a well-organized and thriving society, fulfilling all of my responsibilities as Secretary while also supporting the rest of the committee whenever needed.
