Hello! I'm Avanie, and I'm running to be your Secretary and Major Event Officer for 2026!

As cliche as it sounds, ICSS has truly been a home away from home for me. It is here that I’ve made some of the best friends I could ask for, received opportunities to grow as a person, and been welcomed into a community where I belong. Hence, to give back to the society that has given me so much, I am running to be a part of your Exco next year.

As secretary, I will dedicate myself to the administrative work that keeps this society running behind the scenes. As a past CCA Chairperson, I have experience in keeping track of the many documents, emails, and details that must be planned for activities. My task-oriented nature also helps me stay organised, and effectively liaise with others to lead.

As ME officer, I am committed to making our next ME the best it can be. As part of this year’s cast, seeing how fulfilling ME has been for everyone involved has fuelled my desire to helm our next production. I aim to create a warm and vibrant space for singsoc members to explore their artistic side, find like-minded friends, and let their talents shine. With experience in Drama, I am confident that I have the passion and knowledge needed to bring this vision to life.
