Students for Global Health: Publicity and Social Media Officer

Hello everyone! I’m Amna, a second-year medical student with a strong interest in global health and social media. I’m excited to run for Publicity and Social Media Officer for SfGH because I believe we have so much to share about global health, and social media is a great way to do that. My goal is to help promote the work of SfGH by creating engaging content that informs and motivates students to get involved.

I believe social media is a powerful tool for spreading awareness and starting conversations about global health issues. With a strong online presence, we can reach more people, engage interest, and promote meaningful change.

My experience with social media includes creating posts, managing accounts, and being part of online student communities. I have experience in creating educational and outreach content that is both interesting and easy to understand, and I’m confident I can help grow SfGH’s online presence.

As Publicity and Social Media Officer, I would:

Create regular content to promote global health issues awareness and upcoming events.
Work with the committee to ensure our online presence reflects our mission and values.
Monitor social media platforms to keep track of engagement and improve our outreach.
