What's the difference between the current MathSoc social calendar and limn->∞(1/n)? The limits the only one that exists.
Hi, my names Adam and by voting for me for MathSoc events officer, we can change this. As a JMC student I will introduce more interdepartmental events, working closely with DoCSoc hand-in-hand, to make MathSoc even bigger and better.
From my own experience in MathSoc events, I know they can be hilariously funny and extremely entertaining, as Take Me Out was one of the best events of the whole uni in 2024 bringing people of all departments together to watch me embarrass myself at the front of Clore. However, there has not been nearly enough events run this year and I'm hoping to change that, by introducing a variety of events such as:
- Metric bar nights with free drinks on the society (inspired by DoCSoc)
- 5-a-side football tournaments
- More free Pizza events
- MathSoc family reunions
As your events officer I will implement all of these and more, and together we can make MathSoc one of the best, most enticing societies at Imperial. If there are any ideas for events you desperately want to be realised through MathSoc as well I will be open to any and all suggestions and will make sure you get your wishes.
