Hi Everyone,
My name is Elizabeth and I would like to be the 3s captain next year with Emma. I have absolutely loved netball this year and want to join the committee and contribute to the club.
Here are reasons why I think I would be a good captain:
- I am committed to the club in both time and effort, demonstrated by me almost always being at matches and afterwards contributing to discussions involving our team play, positions, etc with the current 3s captain Martha.
- I am organised so I will be able to sort out matches, training, dresses, balls, etc. I have had experience with this already by filling in for Martha when she has been unavailable.
- I have a lot of netball experience since year 7 and so have experience in leading a team on the court as well, even though I am not the best player on the court I believe that I can know what is the right thing to do for the team to improve during a game.
- I love my team and really want to continue to develop our frienships. Like a cheeky pint at the pub after a game or dinners out together so we can have time to hang out that isn't being stuck on the tube or passing out drunk. I also hope to encourage a solid group of same people who go to training regularly together, to take the pressure off of it being daunting, and improve our play together.
