I was women's captain last year and I never thought I'd enjoy it like i did.

It was a real real challenge. Especially since we had just moved up a tier this year. We played more challenging opponents but I'd like to say I really helped get the team spirit up each time. And now I think we're at the top of the league??. After only one loss this whole season. I loved watching my teams games each time and giving feedback and really trying to boost everyone's confidence and it really reaped rewards.

Another thing is my attendance might lack in some places. But as captain however ill I was or busy i gave it my 100% and I came to every single game.

Getting the team and organising travel was some of the most tiring but rewarding things,and I had to use my knowledge from my time playing for County.

I loved being captain of the women's team and I'd hope I'd get to do it again.
