I’ll be honest, I started Taekwondo to kick people and to prove that I’m better than the Olympians I saw on TV. Now? I still do it to kick people like Arun and Maki, but something changed. Taekwondo has become more than just a sport for me, although this might sound cheesy, it’s like a second family. The supportive and welcoming environment of this club has had a huge impact on my time at Imperial, and I want to give back by ensuring it continues to thrive.

Why Me?

I mean… I’m just cool like that. Don’t you want a VP with such overwhelming main character aura to rep the club? Seriousy though:

1. Experienced in Leadership & Organisation

• As Chess Captain and House Captain in secondary school, I developed strong leadership and organisational skills, from planning events to managing club affairs.

2. Passionate About Our Taekwondo Family

• This club has given me so much, from insane socials at Em’s house to helping me achieve my yellow belt. As such, I want to give back by making sure everyone has the best experience possible.

It’s a little crazy but I’m already getting massive nostalgia and it’s only been half the time of my freshers’ year. I guess getting outrageous accusations during Paranoia and earning mad titles like “Afraid of [ifykyk]” will do that to you.
