Nikita James

Hi everyone! My name is Nikita and I am running for Secretary this year :). The reason I wanted to apply for this role is because I am passionate about RAG and contributing to its cause. Having been on committee this year it was amazing working alongside such incredible people, not only was it fun but the highlight for me was being able to help bring volunteer day to life. I hope to be able to contribute more to the society next year in a role involving more responsibility.

I believe I’d be great for this role as I am well organised and reliable, if I’m given a deadline, I’m able to stick to it. As sponsorship officer for Transplant and Vascular society, I’ve become familiar with handling and maintaining professional email inboxes, and my role also involved helping with the organisation of the societies’ first ever conference, for which I was able to secure a sizeable grant, further demonstrating my organisational abilities.

Additionally, as volunteer and outreach officer this past year, I have dedicated as much as I could to aiding with RAG events, demonstrating reliability and dedication to the society. Overall, I have a lot to contribute to RAG next year and I’d really appreciate your vote! <3
