Patrick Chen

Hi, my name is Patrick, and I hope to be badminton's 2nd team captain next year. I've been playing badminton since I was around 8 years old, and have been regularly playing since. Before joining the university team, I've been actively playing around 3 times a week. This includes playing for a club, the school team and the county team. In my first year, my passion for the sport has never wavered, as I have been turning up to every training session and also playing every fixture possible. I have also been going back to my home city to play matches for my club. Controversially, this academic year, I have prioritised badminton over my studies. If I were to be the 2nd team captain, I will try my best to help the team succeed, and hope to lead the team to more victories like this year.
