Hi Everyone! Rhea here, hopefully your next Vice President of BioChem Soc!

BioChem Soc is so central to our community as a course, and my goal for next year is to make it even more engaging, supportive, and fun. As an academic representative this past year, I have learned so much about the inner runnings of our course, and would love to use that to my advantage to help improve BioChem Soc.

One idea I have is to revamp the Mums and Dads program. I think the concept is very beneficial, but perhaps we need a bit more of a push to make sure the families really bond. This could be achieved by organising some family-oriented social events.

So why me specifically? I'm very passionate. I have loved these past two years at Imperial and am excited at the opportunity to help build an enjoyable experience for everyone. I'm organised and reliable, having taken on roles within the union in the past. Finally, I'm a very friendly and approachable person. You can find me on the 5th floor of the library or on my instagram (@menonrhea_), and I'm always eager to chat– about anything, Biochem or otherwise.
