Are you 🫵 a biochemist? Are you desperate for some ✨ authentic ✨ Biochem Soc events? Do you want biochemistry society to finally make you feel joy 🙋?

As social events officer, I would try to organize...

• 🎄a REAL christmas dinner and other nights outs
• 💂‍♀️ London excursions
• 😇 faculty-student paintball or dodgeball
• 🥐 chill low commitment activities like mixers, game nights, karaoke, and pub quizzes (in pubs, not seminar rooms)

And most importantly...

• ❗️ events with enough room for more than 15 people! (not cool)
• 🕟 events that don't clash with any year's practical sessions, problem classes, lectures, or Horizons/I-Explore modules (even less cool)
• 🧪 biochem-exclusive and biochem-original events (because we need to separate ourselves from BioSoc)

As social events officer, I will ensure that Biochem Soc events take into account everyone's diverse interests so that events can be the as fun and as inclusive as possible!
