Having served on the subcommittee this year, I have been deeply involved in organising our conferences, including Trauma, RTS, and OSD. These experiences have reinforced my passion for surgery and commitment to the Surgical Society. I have seen firsthand how our events inspire students and want to contribute even more as an executive committee member.
Surgery is a demanding yet rewarding field, and a strong, supportive community can make all the difference in shaping future surgeons. My goal is to help the society grow—expanding our events, increasing engagement, and ensuring that every member benefits as much as I have. With dedication and enthusiasm, I want to ensure that society continues to provide high-quality learning and networking opportunities. I would be honoured to take on a leadership role and play a part in making our society even stronger.
