Hey everyone! I’m Salik, and I’m running for General Practice (GP) Society Publicity Officer because I want to make sure every student knows about the incredible opportunities GP Society has to offer! I’ll ensure our events, talks, and opportunities get the attention they deserve through creative, engaging, and accessible publicity.

• Revamp the GP Society’s social media with engaging posts, student spotlights, and interactive Q&As.
• Create short, eye-catching videos featuring GP professionals, career tips, and event highlights.
• Introduce a "Day in the Life of a GP" series, featuring real experiences from students and doctors.
• Ensure clear and engaging promotion of all GP Society events through creative posters, reels, and email campaigns.
• Set up reminder systems so members never miss a talk, workshop, or networking opportunity.
• Work with the committee to increase event accessibility, making it easier for all students to attend.
• Collaborate with faculty and NHS professionals to promote GP placements, mentorships, and shadowing opportunities.
• Make changes to the GP Society newsletter, removing the boring stuff and featuring career advice, event recaps, and student experiences.
• Introduce interactive polls and feedback forms to shape events based on what YOU want.
