Obstetrics & Gynaecology: Treasurer

Hi! my name is Akshaya Muthirulandi and I am running to be your future Obstetrics & Gynaecology Treasurer.

You may be asking—why me? I bring with me valuable experience from my roles in other Imperial societies, including as Webmaster for the Surgical Society and Publicity Officer for the Society of Research and Academia. These roles have equipped me with crucial skills in organization and time management. Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a Logistics Manager for a regional charity, where I developed practical experience in managing spreadsheets, balancing budgets, and maintaining financial records.

As your treasurer, I aim to:

I will maintain an organised and updated financial logbook which will allow me to efficiently track transactions and support event and conference leads in developing effective budget strategies.
By managing my time effectively, I will ensure that claims are approved or denied promptly, keeping everything on track and running smoothly.

With my background in both society roles and financial management, I am confident that I can bring efficiency and reliability to the treasurer position. I would be honored to contribute to the success of the Cardiovascular Society in this role.
