Hi everyone!

I’m Vanathi and I am excited to run for your next ObGyn Secretary!

After attending the ObGyn conference in both 2024 and 2025, I am eager to be a larger part of the ObGyn committee so that I can organise some of these impactful and meaningful events.

As the Academic Officer for Paediatrics this year, I’ve organised a variety of events from the Year 5 Lecture Series, the much-anticipated “Meet the Paediatricians” event and currently a Year 5 Mock PACES that is to benefit almost a 100 Year 5s. Not only has this strengthened my ability to oversee multiple aspects of a committee, collaborating with members from the Psych, GP, and Ob-Gyn societies on academic events has also been a rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals.

Additionally, my experience as Sponsorship Officer for Femtech Society and Marketing Officer for Doctorpreneurs has given me strong skills in managing partnerships and communication.

I am committed to:

• Timely submissions of any documents to allow for hassle-free organisation
• Support the Presidents and various committee roles with administrative matters

I am also meticulous and well-suited to handle any administrative tasks that are required to facilitate the smooth running of our events.
