Friends of Médecins Sans Frontières: Secretary

Hi, my name is Gangah, and I’m a third-year medical student deeply inspired by the humanitarian work of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). I believe the Friends of MSF Society offers an incredible platform for students to engage with global health and medical aid initiatives. I’m running for Secretary to help streamline our operations, ensure effective communication, and support our mission to raise awareness and make a real impact.

In my previous roles, I’ve gained experience in organising, coordinating, and managing communication. As a member of the Doctorpreneurs subcommittee, I focus on marketing and sponsorships, which has sharpened my skills in outreach and maintaining strong relationships. As secretary, I will work to keep all members informed and engaged through clear, timely communication and help ensure the society runs smoothly behind the scenes.

I will prioritise efficient meeting minutes, help coordinate events, and ensure all administrative tasks are handled promptly so we can focus on our mission. I’ll also help keep track of important dates and deadlines, ensuring that everything is well organised and accessible for all members.

If elected, I will work to strengthen our society’s operations and communication, ensuring that we continue to grow and support MSF’s vital humanitarian efforts.

Please vote for me—I’m excited to contribute to the Friends of MSF Society as Secretary and help us achieve great things!
