Hi, I’m Nandhini, and I would be honoured to be your next MSF Secretary!

I am drawn to MSF for its unwavering commitment to delivering life-saving care in the world’s most vunerable communities. Its dedication to health equity, rapid emergency response, and advocacy, aligns with my beliefs. The opportunity to take on this role and have an impact on peoples lives through the money raised, is considered a privilege and deeply meaningful to me.

Through serving previous subcommittee roles, I have gained invaluable insight into the teamwork and organisational skills required into making these events happen. Additionally, my experience in running a student business in secondary school taught me strong organisational and administrative skills, from managing communications to coordinating logistics. These abilities will allow me to efficiently handle society records, streamline correspondence, and support the smooth running of events in this role.

My 3 main goals as Secretary are to:

• Pay meticulous attention to detail to maintain accurate records of meetings, initiatives, and key discussions to ensure transparency and efficiency in the society’s operations.
• Act as the bridge between committee members, students, and external organisations, ensuring effective internal and external correspondence, keeping everyone informed about events, opportunities, and global MSF initiatives.
• Take a proactive role in the organisation of speaker events, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns, ensuring smooth execution and maximum engagement.
