Ibukun Ojo

My name is Ibukun Ojo and I would like to be the small groups director next year. As a first year, gospel choir was one of the first places at Imperial that I felt part of a community and truly welcomed. However, beyond this gospel choir is a place that I can praise and worship God with other like-minded passionate believers.

The verse Psalm 29:2 resonates with me and it says:

"Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness"

Although we come to gospel choir because we love to sing, we are not just singing to anyone, we are worshipping God for all that He is and all that He has done. Given the opportunity, as small groups director I would champion this in our arrangements and songs.
