I'm Hrutika, and I am thrilled to be running for the role of Treasurer.

What I bring to the table:

• Strong Financial Understanding: Studying Economics, Finance and Data Science, I have a strong grasp of financial planning and budgeting. This will allow me to maintain transparency, ensure financial stability, and make informed decisions that align with the goals of Women in SET.
• Attention to Detail and Organisational Skills: I have a keen eye for detail and am highly organised, which I believe are crucial traits for managing finances. From creating budgets to tracking expenses, I will ensure that all financial operations run smoothly.

Vision for Women in SET:

• Financial Stability and Growth: My top priority will be to ensure that the society has a solid financial foundation. I will focus on building reserves while ensuring consistent growth of our funds to support future events and initiatives.
• Streamlined Financial Processes: I will work to automate routine tasks and improve financial workflows to ensure that society's funds are managed efficiently. This includes simplifying cash handling, tracking expenses, and ensuring proper documentation.
• Strategic Budgeting: I will create a comprehensive budget that accounts for both regular and unexpected expenditures. I will ensure that funds are allocated appropriately to sustain our key events while planning for future growth.
• Efficient Budget Allocation & Transparency: Implement an open-book policy, allowing committee members to view financial reports and understand how funds are utilised
