Muhammad Khan
Hi everyone,
My name is Muhammad, and I’m a penultimate-year chemistry student excited to be running for Vice President of Events at Imperial Consultancy Society.
My passion for consulting, combined with my desire to help every member gain a strong start in their career, drives my enthusiasm for this role. I want to organize engaging and practical events - from meetings with experienced professionals to invaluable networking opportunities.
A key focus of mine is expanding collaborations. I see great potential in working with different academic departments to help students explore consulting specializations. For example, hosting events with the Engineering, Chemistry or Medicine societies would give all members a chance to discover how consulting intersects with their fields. While the society already partners with societies such as Finance and Women in Business, I would love to increase the frequency and variety of these cross-society events.
I also want to prioritize member feedback when planning events. By sending out polls or forms at the start of each term, we can tailor events to what members find most useful and improve the experience for everyone.
In terms of experience, I have developed strong organizational and event-planning skills through weekly volunteering with the Syrian refugee community during school. Additionally, this summer, I will be joining a healthcare strategy consulting firm, where I hope to gain industry insights and leverage my network to bring exciting opportunities to the society.
Thank you for your time-I hope my vision resonates with you, and I’d love your support!
