Georgie Kelly

Hi I’m Georgie, a first year biomedical engineering student, and I am running for equipment officer. I started learning to crochet this year through knitsock and I’ve really enjoyed being able to come along each week and just enjoy the calm environment that the society creates.

I think it’s really important that the equipment is well looked after as it allows people to try out a new hobby without having to make a significant financial commitment, which is so important especially for uni students. I’m a very organised person and hence I believe I’m the right person to manage knitsock’s inventory. I will ensure that all the equipment is well looked after and available for members to use and borrow when they need it.
