Jamie Secker

Hi I’m Jamie, a third year medic and I’m excited to put myself forward to be fundraising coordinator for Friends of MSF!

The work that MSF does for those who have been affected by natural disasters, war and epidemics is incredibly important. It is something that has served as inspiration for me since an early age when I was first deciding I wanted to do medicine - I would be so honoured to be a part of the committee this year.

What I’d like to do in my role:

• Work with other committee members to plan and ensure the smooth running of fundraising events
• Brainstorm new ways to fundraise whether that be through ticketed events or collections
• Investigate other methods of payment that can be used to collect donations e.g. contactless payments

I’d love to be a part of this society this year, I’ve attended so many amazing FoMSF events and I would love to be on the other side, organising events and fundraising for an incredible cause.
