I am excited to apply for the role of Treasurer of the Vegan Society. As someone who deeply values sustainability, ethical living, and financial responsibility, I am eager to contribute my organisational and financial skills to support the society’s mission.

Personally, I turned vegan because I was influnence by a few vegan friends who trained for endurance sports (Marathons and Ironmans). This completely demystified a lot of questions for myself.

As a Mathematics student, I have developed strong analytical and problem-solving abilities that are essential for managing the society’s finances effectively. My experience in various roles—from fundraising for my Royal Parks Half Marathon to volunteering at the Great Exhibition Road Festival—has strengthened my ability to budget, plan, and secure funding for events.
