Bethany Ng Tseung

Hi! I’m Bethany a second year at imperial and have been an active member of AMSA for the past two years! I’m running for AMSA’s secretary role.

As your secretary, these are the things I will priotise:

• Communication with the internal and external committee and members. I will ensure prompt responses with clear and concise messages at all times. Where possible, I will have templates ready at hand to ensure efficiency and consistency. I’m a fast responder and a clear and transparent communicator.
• Organisation: I will ensure all records and meeting minutes are completed accurately, summarised concisely and sent promptly. I will centralise all information using a simple and accessible online sharing platform so that decisions and plans produced out of any of our meetings is always available.
• Coordinatoon: I will ensure all events run smoothly by maintaining live documents tracking event logistics, assigned roles and deadlines with checklists so that that all responsibilities are clearly assigned and completed.
• Learning: whilst I understand I am inexperienced in certain intricacies of the running of the society (eg. chimpmail and maintaining the website), I can guarantee I’m a fast learner and will be eager to gain new skills and take on new responsibilities.

Having developed my skills in communication, teamwork and problem solving in my roles as playteam leader, Mauritian society president, nutritank committee and more, I believe I will be able to deliver these implementations and work with others to nurture the growth and success of AMSA.
