Hi everyone! I am Jayden and I will be running for the position of Publication Officer at PASS.
My participation in various internal and external events as a PASS Subcommittee member this year has been detrimental to forming friendships and enhancing communication and social skills. Besides, these events have been crucial in raising awareness of social issues around the world. It goes without saying that PASS has played an important role in creating a vibrant university life; Thus, I would love to contribute back to this community through the role of Publication Officer.
My previous role of photography team chairman in high school has allowed me to develop a good eye for using visual appeal to enhance interest, as well as developing the ability to lead and guide teammates. Besides, having managed a photography page for a similar amount of time, I have relevant experience in maximizing Instagram’s ability to engage viewers through posts and reels. Thus, as Publication Officer, I hope to make better use of social media to better promote internal and external events alike, enhancing participation and hence further fostering bonds and a sense of community. Adding to that, I would like to recap these events in the form of photos and videos as a means of recording our activities throughout the year.
Having the relevant experience and suitable motivation, I am confident that I can fulfill the role of Publication Officer. I look forward to possibly contributing back to the ICPASS community.
