Hello, my name is Isaac, and I am running for the position of Academic Events Officer.
I would love to contribute to the running of the BioSoc committee, believing that I have what it takes to run our events in collaboration with my partner. In the past, I have been able to exercise my organisational and management skills: I have assumed the role of house captain, subject ambassador and a club facilitator. Each position required my involvement in the set-up and running of extracurricular and academic opportunities for my peers and juveniles. If I am to take on this role, I will ensure that all of our events are executed smoothly just as it is now, and will look for the best external speakers with the most interesting and relevant talks.
