Alicia Tjokro

Hello! My name is Alicia and I'm a 1st year Biochemist. I am running for Pharmacology Society President and I am looking to revive the society after a year of inactivity. I have many ideas for the Society, including organising industry talks, creating a journal club or lecture series where members can teach and learn from each other and maybe fun social events like quizzes or outings! I believe there used to be tutorials for medics as well, so if I can get a medic on board, I am more than happy to bring that back! I am also an undergraduate member of the British Pharmacological Society and I am very interested in seeing how we can connect the two societies.

My motivation comes from my own interest in pharmacology, and my desire to talk to others about pharmacology!
