RAG (ICSM): Publicity Officer

Hello! My name is Hephzibah, i'm currently in second-year, and I’m excited abot the opportunity to be Publicity Officer for RAG. I believe I'd be a great fit for the role because I enjoy creating social media content and quite enjoy graphic design.

Through conversations with others who have experience in this role across different societies, I have a great understading of what it involves to be publicity officer and what is needed to create amazing promotional content for our RAG events.

My Aims:

Things I Want to Continue Doing:

  • Use of colour schemes on Instagram (satisfying)
  • Posting 3 posts per event to create a row on the feed

Things I Want to Improve:

  • Increase Social Media Engagement: Boost interaction with more polls, Q&As, and behind-the-scenes looks at events.

  • Boost Event Participation: Work with the committee to increase turnout at events through the publicity.

  • Start RAG TikTok: One of last year's goals was to start a RAG TikTok account, and I plan to make that a reality this year, using trends to engage our audience and promote events.
