Hi everyone!
My name is Anoushka, and I am excited to run for your Social Events Coordinator! University life is quite overwhelming at times, and we all need moments to unwind and connect. My goal is to create a vibrant and inclusive social scene that ensures we have fun and de-stress beyond the lecture hall and incessant lab reports.
Throughout my first year, I have valued many opportunities to get to know other bioengineers; therefore, here are a few ideas I have for next year:
- More BioengSoc family events
- Events with other Bioengineering societies at different universities to build networks
- Encourage mentorship programs
- Regular check-ins and polls to help tailor our socials to what you want
- And most importantly - Good food at all bioeng events
With my experience running several school societies and events, I make sure every event is seamless and well-advertised. I bring fresh ideas and an energetic approach to planning, and my priority is to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment.
