Hi all,

As a lot of you know from camp last year, I don't even need to physically row a single—when the wind's on my side! You can't get more recreational than that, which is why I'm perfect for this role.

At the start of the year, I will set up a small recreational rowing squad with a casual weekly water session (three half-course pieces). I can cox these outings myself or coach from a launch. It will be targeted at people who have rowed/coxed before, including novices from past years, who might want to stay involved with the sport/club without the initial time commitment that comes with joining the senior squad. I think having a recreational squad would benefit club culture and would be helpful in case we need emergency subs for races. Plus, I can try to bring more people into the senior squad over time.

Additionally, I am happy to take on any other tasks delegated to me by committee members.
