Nicholas Finnemore Capon Diaz

Hi everyone! I am Nicholas, and for the past year I have devoted a lot of my time to the Energy Society - launching all of the Energy Projects. This initiative has given opportunities to over 600 students to collaborate and solve energy problems faced in industry, and is only growing. Next year, I plan to continue working on these highly-demanded projects. Throughout this time, I have witnessed the contagious excitement of every member towards energy and sustainability, each with their own twist.

It has been a space of excitement and great ideas, one that I would look forward to keep growing and nourish with many exciting and innovative projects. Given my experience throughout the year organising teams and generating ideas, I am confident I will be able to do this in a way that makes the society prosper.

In this position I would seek to establish projects that meet the diverse interests of all Energy Society Members, organise talks with industry leading researchers and entrepreneurs, and career-related events to give everyone the most up-to-date information regarding the industry.
