Krishnii Sivakumaran

Hello everyone, I’m Krishnii and I’m excited to apply for the role of Treasurer, as I am passionate about the field and eager to contribute to this society. Ophthalmology is a dynamic and essential specialty that significantly improves patients' quality of life, and I would love to be part of the society’s initiatives.

Having been involved in various subcommittees as a sponsorship officer, I’ve gained valuable insight into the organisation and financial planning needed to run successful events. As Treasurer, I would focus on managing the society’s budget efficiently, ensuring that funds are allocated appropriately to support educational and networking opportunities for members. My goal is to maintain clear and transparent financial records, enabling the society to plan future events with confidence and secure the resources needed to continue its growth.

Additionally, my experience as Head of Sponsorships in Tamil Society has strengthened my skills in managing budgets, liaising with sponsors, and ensuring the success of events. I have organised charity talks, coordinated with vendors, and developed content for sponsors, which has given me the skills to secure funding and build lasting partnerships—key components of financial sustainability for the society.

I am eager to bring my organisational experience to this role, and I would be honoured to contribute to the success of this Society.
