Sruthi Aji

Hi, I'm Sruthi and I am a candiate for the position of Secretary in NeuroSoc. Neuroscience has always been my passion, and I believe our society can be a powerful platform for learning, collaboration, and outreach.

I have a personal connection to neurology and it's impact on shaping a person's identity and health. My fascination in neuroplasticity and dementia which i've read numerous texts, cases and books on which fuels my interest in neurology and the treatment of it.

As Secretary, I want to ensure smooth communication, keep things organised, and help create engaging opportunities for all members. I hope to achieve clear and efficient communication with timely updates, well-documented meetings, and an active online presence. I have organised many events and meetings within my job as a junior product manager for MyEdSpace and had various leadership roles in the past. I would like to sharpen my organisational skills and ensure that it all runs as smoothly as possible.

I hope to organise more interactive events, mentorship programs, and networking opportunities for all years to be able to participate and gain something from. I would also like to expand beyond our society through events and partnerships and truly venture out into the world of neurology.

I’m committed to making our society more inclusive, engaging, and impactful. I’d love the opportunity to serve and help our community grow. With my skills and enthusiasm for neuroscience, I'm confident in my ability to excel as YOUR secretary.
