Ivy Ng

Hi everyone, I’m Ivy, and I’m running for Deputy President because I share the same vision and am passionate about continuing to widen access to medicine. Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of actively contributing to Vision, serving as both the Dr Me Project Lead and the MMA Day Conference Chair. These roles have allowed me to grow personally while also giving me the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to our society.

I am particularly proud of my involvement in organizing one of Vision’s largest conferences this year, a milestone that showcased our society’s potential. Additionally, I introduced the Dr Me Project to Vision two years ago, and in the time since, I’ve taken on the responsibility of organizing weekly school visits, an initiative that has made a significant difference in the local community.

Having helped at all of Vision’s events this year, I’ve honed essential leadership and teamwork skills and gained an understanding of the events, which I believe are crucial for the role of Deputy President. I am highly organized, dependable, and dedicated to serving our community. I take pride in my ability to collaborate with others, and I always strive to make sure every task is completed to the highest standard.

Having been actively involved with the committee this year, I’m eager to continue contributing to Vision’s growth and make a meaningful final impact in my last year. I’m confident that my skills, experience, and passion will enable me to serve effectively as Deputy President.
