I'm Vedant, and I’m running to be Friends & Alumni Officer for Vision!

Getting into medicine is tough, and having a strong support system can make all the difference. I know firsthand how invaluable it is to learn from the experiences of older years, and I am very greatful for their advice and encouragement. That’s why I’m so passionate about keeping Vision’s Friends & Alumni community thriving—because every aspiring medic deserves to feel supported by a network of people who have experienced it all before.

I already have great contacts in the older years, allowing me to strengthen alumni involvement and keep them engaged with Vision. Whether it’s through mentorship, talks, or networking opportunities, I want to ensure that in Vision, no aspiring medic feels like they’re going through this journey alone.

As Friends & Alumni Officer, I would work to:
✅ Strengthen relationships with older years and alumni to keep them actively involved.
✅ Create a welcoming and supportive community.
✅ Ensure Vision continues to grow with the help of those who’ve already been through the journey.

This role is something I genuinely care about because I know just how much having a strong support system can mean when applying to medicine. I would love the opportunity to give back and help make sure every aspiring medic has the same guidance that helped me.
