Known as 'the one in the red glasses', I'm Weronika and I'm eager to be your next year's Academic Events Officer in BiochemSoc! I absolutely loved attending the academic talks and events powered by our departmental society, the knowledge gained and the connections made. Yet, I would love to bring some of the top Imperial (but not limited to!) researchers and professionals to SAF for you to network with, learn about what they are doing and get inspired to do great things with your life and your degree!
- I already have a strong network of academics, researchers, professionals, founders and other inspiring people, based at Imperial and beyond, who would be happy to give an entertaining academic talk for you.
- My experience and high proficiency in cold outreach, as well as extremely outgoing personality is exactly what a person in charge of academic events should have.
- I aim to improve the coperation between the BiochemSoc sections to ensure that every one of you knows about the events and what opportunities do they exactly bring for you.
- To address the wide spectrum of careers you are considering to pursue, I want to introduce more career events that are fitted to your expectations and needs, and be inclusive to all fields, even the most niche ones you could think of.
