Hello everyone,

I am excited to be running for your Neuro soc publicity officer. I am super passionate about neuro and would love to share this enthusiasm with the rest of the medical school. My aim is to ensure that everyone, including those with just a small interest in neuro, knows about our events and opportunities and comes along.

I aim to be active on our Instagram by creating and posting infographics for all our events, sharing useful articles and neuro opportunities within the university and beyond. I was able to get to grips with canva when I was helping to do some of the promotion for an event for the afro-carribean society and I believe this will help me to create cohesive and visually-appealing posts.

I hope to liase with other societies to build connections with them and promote our joint events, which will help to expand the society by drawing in new members. Additionally, I hope to do an at-least termly newsletter to allow members to share their ideas, feedback and stay updated with not only our events, but neuro-related news everywhere. This I feel would create a sense of community and involvement in the society.

I consider myself to be a very effective communicator and am always online so I'm well equipped with the skills to do effective publicity for neuro. I am also highly organised and will keep a calendar of the events so I can show up and get content.
