Sreenithi Bhuvaneshwaran

Hey everyone, I'm Sreenithi and I would love to be your next Speaker Series Coordinator!

I have seen the huge impact that the merging of our Neuroscience and Neurosurgery societies has had on the scope of events we've held this year, including the upcoming Meeting of the Minds Conference 2025. My role as Publicity Officer on committee this year, as well as my experience as Events Officer for Nutritank, has taught me the organisation and excellent communication that goes into coordinating these speaker events.

I was so inspired by the joint lecture series put on by our current Speaker Series Coordinator alongside FemTech and NeuroTech, and I hope all our members who attended felt they took away something valuable by delving into a new or different area of neuroscience! Developing this collaborative nature, I would like to curate a set of lectures primarily focused on Neurology and Neurosurgery, with each talk exploring the nervous system's involvement in a different organ system.

I would invite a diverse range of speakers across specialities for this in conjunction with our other medical speciality societies, to expand our reach within Imperial and provide our members with valuable insight into the broad applications of neuroscience across systems and specialties.

I hope to have the chance to bring these ideas to life next year, vote for Sreenithi!
