Shehzeen Alam

Hi everyone, I’m Shehzeen Alam, and I am running to be your social secretary for BMBSoc. With my experience and passion for creating fun and engaging social events, I am ready to work towards taking BMBSoc socials to the next level!

I love planning socials and aim to make them fun, exciting, and interactive for everyone to enjoy this year. With more engaging and themed socials like pub quizzes and themed parties to unique collaboration events for people to meet across different years and courses, I want to plan socials that are unique experiences beyond the usual.

I have extensive logistical and leadership experience that makes me capable of this role. At school, as producer and head producer of the annual TEDx event, medical society Chair, and Pakistan fundraising committee Chair, I have learnt how to manage large-scale events, coordinate with external organisations, and create successful and organised socials that people genuinely enjoy. Coming from Singapore, I bring diverse ideas that can make our events more inclusive and innovative.
