Carolina Moura Bento

Hi there!

My name is Carolina, I am a second year BSc Medical Biosciences student and it is a pleasure to run for Immunology Chair 2025/26 :) 🎉

This year I am the society's Conference Lead and my role is to organise our annual conference allongside the rest of this year's incredible committee and our amazing subcommitte! I am having so much fun organising this event and I cannot wait to see it come to life (don't forget to buy your tickets!! 😉). Therefore, I decided to take a step forward and run for chair of the best society at Imperial, so that not only I can get even MORE engaged with the society, but also support next year's committee organising the conference! 🔬🧫

I have quite some experience both in organising events and in working as a team and this role has helped me further develop my organisation and teamworking skills. 🫂

I am also deeply passionate for Immunology and I look forward to a career delving into either cancer immunology or maternal tolerance - both of my two favourite topics in immunology 📚
