Mary Ansong

Hello, my name is Mary and I am a 2nd Year Mathematics student.

Aside from my degree, I have been greatly involved with outreach at Imperial. I have been a Student Ambassador since the start of my first year and I am currently on the Outreach Black Student Advisory Board. As secretary this year, I have also had my hand at helping with the ongoing outreach in the ACS. So it's safe to say I know my way around outreach and can use these experiences to handle the tasks of managing and organising many of our outreach initiatives, including our biggest annual conference ACStem.

But with ACS Outreach Officer, I also want to use this opportunity to deliver more outreach initiatives close to the society's heart. After getting things off the ground in the last couple of years, I hope to bring more outreach opportunities to everyone in the society, as well as, continuing existing events such as our school talks so everyone can have a hand in giving back to their communities. As well as this I want to use my experience to help members of the society to deliver their own outreach initiatives.
