Arushi Maheshwari

Hi, I’m Arushi, a 2nd year medical student, and I’m excited to run for SORA Webmaster!

Over the last year, I have been actively involved in event organization, serving on the Paediatrics Conference sub-committee and holding roles in two of the biggest cultural societies at Imperial. These experiences have strengthened my teamwork, marketing, and communication skills, which I believe are essential for the Webmaster role.

My technical proficiency, creativity and passion for research make me well-suited for managing SORA’s digital presence. If elected, I hope to enhance communication and engagement within the society by improving online platforms and exploring new initiatives—such as a SORA bulletin or social media series to share key takeaways from conferences, provide useful research contacts, and highlight exciting opportunities. I understand the importance of a strong online presence in order to grow the society and get more members, and beleive I will be able to contribute well.

I am eager to take on this role with dedication and enthusiasm, ensuring that SORA continues to thrive.
