I am excited to apply for the role of National Conference Lead, bringing my passion for research, event organisation, and academic collaboration to elevate our society’s flagship event. As the current Head of Events for Cardiosoc, I have successfully aided in the organisation of a high-impact conference, speaker panels, and networking opportunities—experience that I am eager to apply to SORA.

If elected, I will:

• Expand Opportunities for Students – Introduce dedicated sessions for students to present their research, connect with mentors, and explore career pathways.
• Foster National and Interdisciplinary Collaboration – Strengthen partnerships with institutions and societies to attract a diverse range of attendees and speakers.
• Enhance Accessibility and Inclusivity – Ensure the conference is welcoming to students from all backgrounds, providing resources to support participation.
